Five Stars By Ron Hon 30 July 2015 Format: Kindle Easy read and enjoyed it 4 stars By Emma Bloyon 30 July 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Thought this book was an excellent read and would recommend it to anyone. 3 stars Like the boat in the plot it leaked from the outset and sank within a few pages By Avid Snapperon 29 July 2015 Format: Kindle Edition I don't like to be too unkind towards this book and it does hold one's interest - for a while, but it see-saws from one place/situation to another so much it is easy to lose your way. I'm not into 'all action hero' books, being more the 'cerebral' type I like an interesting plot. This book misses the mark on both counts and is somewhat laboured. Five Stars By pauljo54 on 27 July 2015 Format: Kindle Edition good read Five Stars By Georgie Girl "GiGi"on 25 July 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Good read 5 stars really enjoyed it, loved the family angle By Jill A Owen on 14 July 2015 Format: Paperback This is the first of this authors books that I have read, really enjoyed it, loved the family angle. 5 stars A great read - beautifully written By Jane on 10 January 2013 Format: Kindle Edition This was an impulse buy as I'd recently read another of the author's books and enjoyed it. I absolutely loved this one - it was a great read from start to finish. Lots of fascinating facts about London and the underground world of tunnels that runs beneath the capital - really well researched and beautifully written. If you like a spy/thriller then this is a must read - it was excellent! |

Wow!!!,
July 17, 2015 By ce hoss - Published on Amazon.com This review is from: The Cilla Rose Affair (Kindle Edition) This is what I'm talking about!! This was a great read, it has good characters with well filled out personalities and a fantastic storyline. I really liked this novel. One disappointment: too much unnecessary detail on the subway trains (boring). But I NEVER give 5 stars, so this book is just that good. My cup o'tea. |
5 out of 5 stars A
great
spy story By Angloscand on July 15, 2015 - Published on Amazon.com Format: Kindle Edition I really enjoyed this book, extremely well written. A cast of characters that come alive off the page. A spy story that is full of twists and turns, amazing amount of knowledge of the landscape, that they are have been placed in. If you like London but would enjoy a new perspective this is a great book for you. |

The
Cilla Rose Affair jumps
right
into the action with an entertaining story. It was obviously written by
an author with a British-type background, judging from the prose. It's
serious, and sometimes irreverent at the same time, and if that was the
target intended by the author, Kent succeeds. The only thing lacking in
the Kindle version is a linked Table of Contents, which it needs badly.
My hope is that the author will add this to the Kindle manuscript and
upload it a second time. (She did) My advice? Go for it. It's a great
story. |

out of 5 stars A good book for a long flight. Sept. 8 2013 By Julia in PA Published on Amazon.com Format: Kindle Edition I am not a huge fan of mysteries and must admit that I only read this as a courtesy to the author. "Hi, Winona!" I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was engaged by the characters and the mystery. This book was full of twists and turns that at first left me confused, but the ending tied everything up nicely. I would recommend this book to a friend or any mystery fan. |
